Direction and dates matter
A car heading into Florida and one leaving Florida are different requests. Specify both cities or ZIPs, your ready date and any actual deadline. Seasonal travel may change which dates and directions a provider can accommodate; an old quote for the reverse journey is not a current rate.
Coordinate with your travel plans
If you are moving for a season, decide who can release the vehicle before your departure and receive it at the destination. Avoid assuming the car and your flight will arrive on the same day. Ask separately about pickup availability and estimated transit after collection.
Our New York to Florida and Florida to New York guides address the two directions independently. They do not promise a seasonal timetable or a fixed price.
Check residential access
Condominiums, gated communities and storage facilities may have receiving hours or vehicle access rules. Confirm any appointment, gate or authorized-person requirements. The carrier may need an agreed nearby meeting point when a large truck cannot safely stop at the requested address.
Pick the method for the car
Open shipping and enclosed shipping offer different exposure and handling choices. If a stored vehicle has not recently been driven, verify its condition instead of assuming it starts, rolls and brakes normally.
Review the current terms
Ask for written price, payment, cancellation and coverage details for the actual vehicle and route. Weather, availability and access can affect scheduling, so keep a clear contact plan with the provider.
Bold publishes a Florida service page. Current carrier availability must still be checked. MileRelay is an independent referral site and does not claim a Florida terminal, fleet or office.
Preparation preview: forms create test records. Do not enter real personal information. No carrier is booked and no request is sent to Bold Auto Transport.
