A state name is not a complete route
Texas can be either end of your shipment. Use the actual city or ZIP at both ends so a provider can assess the route. A Dallas-area move, a Houston-area pickup and a more remote collection point should not be treated as interchangeable.
An initial form does not need an exact home address. Detailed access arrangements can be confirmed with the provider when a real shipment is being planned.
Describe access at your Texas location
For a home or apartment pickup, note gates, parking rules and turning space. For a dealer purchase, confirm when the vehicle will be released and who can authorize collection. If you are outside a major metro, discuss whether a mutually agreed accessible meeting point would help; do not assume service is unavailable or that a distant detour is required.
Choose the method for your vehicle
Open transport and enclosed transport serve different protection priorities. Vehicle dimensions and modifications still matter for either method. Non-running vehicles need a separate equipment and acceptance review.
Keep your dates useful
Give an earliest realistic ready date and any true deadline. A pickup window is the period when the carrier is expected to collect; transit begins after collection. Ask how changes will be communicated before scheduling a flight or relying on a delivery day.
For an example connecting two states, read the California to Texas planning guide. It explains questions to ask rather than publishing a live price.
Verify the provider's current scope
Bold publishes a Texas car shipping page. That confirms advertised coverage, not a carrier available for your dates. MileRelay is a separate referral site and does not operate a Texas fleet or office by virtue of that listing.
Preparation preview: forms create test records. Do not enter real personal information. No carrier is booked and no request is sent to Bold Auto Transport.
